Director of digital services at the European Commission
With more than 20 years of experience in the Commission, since 2021 Natalia Aristimuño has held the position of director of Digital Services in the General Directorate of Informatics, where her objective is to propose solutions to make the life of users and public administrations more efficient thanks to the use of technology, both in European administrations and in the European Commission itself.
Director of Innovation and Entrepreneurship of the Madrid City Council.
He developed his professional career in various Internet companies until, in 2001, he joined the State Corps of Engineers. At the Ministry of Industry, he oversaw the Digital Cities program. Since 2019 he is the General Director of Innovation and Entrepreneurship of the Madrid City Council. Outside the City Council work, Fernando is also a member of the Advisory Council for Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation of Camilo José Cela University.

He worked for a decade in the private sector before joining the Public Administration, in the sectors of telecommunications and urban traffic control systems, and environmental pollution. Between 2018 and 2020 he was Secretary General of Digital Administration of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation, responsible for the Digital Transformation initiatives of the General State Administration and the common infrastructures that supported the administration during the time of confinement caused by COVID-19. Currently, he is the General Director of the Madrid Digital Office in charge of promoting the digital transformation process in the city, digital administration, and data strategy.
Digital Innovation Commissioner of Barcelona City Council
He has worked as director of strategic planning and central services in the municipalities of Rubi and Gavà. He is an expert on open government and transparency issues and has published several articles and chapters on public management.
